Cricket

I was at the Day and Night game at Old Trafford Last week.

We were sitting in Stand H. The view was great. Down the third man boundary. The scoreboard and TV is on the right hand side. There were lots of crazy Indians though.

It was fun though, some good friendly banter.

Go back to the game it was low scoring but lot of entertainment. With England you are constantly on a roll-a-coaster ride.

India batted first and got 213 all out. Under the lights, England kept losing wicket and at one stage 114 for 7.

Until young Ravi B and Stuart B put up a 99stand for the 8th wicket to win us the game.

It was tense as the Run require kept going down and Indian have nothing to spring a surprise.

In the game, I left home very happy.

But during the day, I got the phone call saying that the purpose sale of my house has fallen through. Not happy at all.

So there you go.

Sorry that’s why I have not update the blog.

Hit or Stick

Do you hit or do you stick?

arh I know you will ask ON WHAT.

That’s right. You make your judgement by looking at what you HAVE got first.

I want to talk about History and Values against Change and Future.

I am an improver of this world. My role is to change things for the better. Mixing culture, introducing new technology to people and helping them along to improve.

Therefore I am constantly link with the past and future. The thing we do well keeps and the thing we don’t do well goes.

History can be good or bad
Values can be forth thinking but sometime stubborn or naive.

Change can set you to good direction or bad direction
Future is simply unknown until you get there

So when we walk.

We are looking at where our feet have landed.
Then look at where we can place our next step.
By considering the general direction of where we are going
and keep to our own pace we will hit our destination (future)

Ok ok where is the history, value change and future.

ha you can see it.

history is where our feet are.
Change is the direction
value is the style of the walking (pace, strike, looks etc)
destination is the future.

or for Mathematical geeks

History is the initial value
Value is the dx/dt
Change is diverge or coverge
Destination is the target.

There might be better termination for this four steps but they work for the time being.

Take care.

THE shirt!

Enough Said.

One of my fellow gooner supporter / work mates said it read too dangerously close to SONG. Only now I have thought out I should have SI NG printed. Then I will be SING and he will be SONG.

Till next time, it’s goodbye from me.

The Odd one out!

There are number of way you can describe an odd one out.

Unique
Genius
Leader
Special

It is one of its kind. Not everybody thinks odd one out as ODD or strange, weird. There is always an equal and opposite.

Genius vs Dumb

We human like to do things in groups and always try to flush out the odd one out. I have also learnt this from a documentary about chimps.

Being the odd one out can be different. You are doing something that no one is doing, you are thinking something that no one is thinking. Therefore sometime people question your actions and sometime thinks you are strange.

Let me tell you all inventor of this world are in the same way treated by this stereotype: strange.

But all it is they have an unique viewpoint. A viewpoint that can either totally stupid or totally genius. I would always like to think the positive way.

Genius and stupidity is separated by a very thin line.

If you are like me consider yourself as an odd one out in this world. Keep faith at what every you are doing. Do let the world dilute you? I support you.

If you don’t think you are a odd one out. Please look around you and support them if you see one.

And like my previous post, why do you think that is stupid. you should also think about why that is not stupid.

Do be an odd one out on your own. Be in a group of odd one out.

Like a special force or SAS

The best in intelligence + the best in communication + the best in shooting + the best in tactics etc.etc.

Be the best of the best.

Take Care.

Equal and Opposite

If you are studying my intelligence resource you will be familiar 4Cs.

The first C is Categorise.

This is the way we put thing into their place. Socks in the bottom draw, shirts in the wardrobe, t-shirt on the shelves.

In simple programming, if function is used a lot. If we look at how computer analyse data in binary mode. It is either 1 or 0. So in our simply If function, it might be

If Helen’s chest = big then She is hot!

What else can you use as the operator.

equal
not equal
larger than
smaller than

The latter two is covered under the 2nd and 3rd C.

The first 2 is what I want to touch on here.

Equal and Opposite.

Many people ignore the opposite even if they knew Newton’s 3rd Law.
And in many ways the opposite is hidden from us. It is not as visible therefore we have ignored it.

When you are considering any, I mean any decision don’t just question why, you also have to do Why Not.

If impossible is possible then sometime possible might become impossible.

Think equal or opposite.

Thanks,
Simon

How clever are you? and How smart are you?

Do you ever think about this?

When you approach someone do you consider how clever they are compared to yourself.

Why do you need to know?
It is because if you can you should be able to spot opportunities.
It is that feeling that you can take control whatever it might be.

That you can out smart someone even if you are the less clever one.

For example, if you were running a race. You should know whether you can complete with other people. Then you will be in a better position to control strategy (or have a better plan)

Knowing your strength and knowing your weakness will help you find the best strategy. I am not saying you will win but you will achieve the highest based on your potential.

It is not how clever you are it is how smart you are!

Plymouth is promoted to the Premier League

I have been playing Football Manager (the new CM). After feeling feedup of winning everything with Arsenal. I’ve decided to take the cash-strapped Plymouth Argyle. Why because I went to school in Truro and the Green Army was the closest league team to us at the time. So everyone at the school sort of support them.

Wheel and deal with free transfer and loan young players from the primer league team has helped my Plymouth to a 4th finish in the league, just 2 points short of automatic promotion. But a penalty shootout win  Cardiff in the playoff semi was follow by an entertaining final which see us beat Hull 3-2 at Wembley.

I only have £250k budget to spend on new players.
So I can only hope to avoid relegation. Might be I can get a few Arsenal kids.

Football is great even if it is just a computer game.
